We have this amazing tree that sits majestically on a hill in our front yard.
It is called a Montezuma Balled Cypress.
We were intrigued by this tree with it's feather-like leaves that cast a lovely shadow over our lawn providing beautiful shade for relaxing and gathering.
I have learned that this tree is native to Mexico, their national tree.
in that climate, this tree is evergreen, however here, it is deciduous.
In the fall it has a beautiful glow that makes one thing that it is on fire.
We sit atop a little hill that allows our front yard to be a sort of secret garden. I think this tree also provides some seclusion and interest to our yard.
