Golden Drops of Sun
I have been watching certain
daffodils in our garden - thinking they'd
be the first to bloom. Then I saw
these gorgeous drops of sunlight
already showing their brilliant yellow!
Today is such a gorgeous day!
With our unusually cold, rainy
winter a bright-sunlit day
is definitely nourishment to
one's spirit!
Pansies are some of my favorite flowers.
I call them my little happy faces.
They always make me smile.
I have a lot of work to do.
Along with the early blooms there's
the winter weeds.
Our garden was wild when we moved
here and it's a herculean effort
to keep it from going back!
I hope where you are the sun is shining
and that you take a moment to lift
your face to it - smile and give thanks!
