Walk through Garden
Visiting Friend's Gardens
and a little trek in the woods
Yesterday, I walked around my garden to see
what was in bloom. I was extatic to see a couple
of my tulips beginning to blooming.

I was drawn to these
lovely pink blossoms and to their promotion
of the support of Breast Cancer research.
My baby peach tree has a couple of blossoms.

The cats decided to follow and to assist me.

the bunny doesn't look happy to have the cat behind her

I was amazed to see some of my Peonies shooting up!

And one with a bud!

And there's even rosebuds here and there.

I am so very pleased with the growth of the
Helleboros, the daffodils and the Pink Surprise
Lilies on the Eastside garden.

I turned my attention to my neighbor's gardens.
To the North, my neighbor's Cherry trees are just
beginning to fill out.

To the East my neighbor's dogwoods are just
beginning to open.

Later that afternoon, my daughter and I went to
a friend's house. She was sick and needed some medicine.

While there my daughter and I toured her garden

and there I learned that my daughter knew so much more
about the abilities of my little camera.

One of my daughter's pictures - I think she'd say this is
too blurry - but, I still liked it.
Her eye for photography is amazing.

We then adventured to a nearby dirt road

then to a wooded area where there was an
old homestead and a barn still stood.

I am quite adventurous and will trek where
some may not. My daughter wasn't too comfortable
but, she plodded along with me.
You can see from the beginning to the last
photos a difference. I am amazed that the
younger generations grasp today's technology so well.
I for one am very thankful.
