A Snow Globe World

We awoke this morning to a wondrous sight. The air is filled with light

and delicate flakes of snow! The snow is sticking to limbs and bushes.
I love the beauty and the quietness of snow.

It is a rarity where I live. I read some of your blogs where you’ve
shared that you’ve had several instances of snow. Some are
experiencing extremely large amounts of snow!

I remember what blizzard conditions were like when we lived
in Ohio. It was a wondrous time to me. My children were

very small and my husband would strap a sled to our
Black Labrador. He’d then place my son and daughter on the sled

My son being the eldest would hold tight to the sled and to
his sister. My husband would then run down the road

and our dog would chase him carrying our children and
their gleeful laughter behind.

The snow would sometimes drift several feet high
 – but, we were always warm and cozy inside.

Snow transfixes the world into a magical place of
sparkle and beauty.

It transforms the heart of a woman into a child.
